Kids and parents alike had a great time at the Kid’s Hangar enjoying games, inflatable slides, D.A.R.E. train rides, flying simulators and photos taken inside a 1942 Stearman open cockpit biplane. Activities helped support the Humane Society’s Happy Tails adoption program.

When the sun went down things started heating up at the Rendezvous Hangar Dance. Live big band music brought the crowd, many dressed in 40’s fashion and military uniform, to the large dance floor and back to the fun and romance of the 1940’s.

A well-deserved thanks to Larry Cooper, airport manager, and his crew for all the hard work involved in putting on this event. We also want to thank Debbie Tebbetts for her great job organizing the Kid's Hangar. And a special thank you to the City of Natchitoches and Parish Tourist Commission for all their assistance.
We'd also like to thank Brian Callia of BND Hobbies and Tom Burkheimer and the Demons Remote Control Club for an awesome job decorating the Hangar Dance with the cargo parachute and RC planes.
